USEFUL ANSWERS
BEFORE WE FLY.
A few practical answers to help you plan your project.
Are you FAA-certified?
TrigonAerial’s pilots hold current Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificates.
How accurate is aerial mapping?
Accuracy appropriate to the project is established during scoping. It depends on capture, control, processing and validation; we do not apply a blanket accuracy promise to every project.
What is an orthomosaic?
An orthomosaic combines overlapping aerial images into a single corrected site image. Depending on the capture and processing scope, it can support site review and measurement.
How soon will we receive deliverables?
An expected delivery timeframe is included with your project scope after we review the capture and processing requirements.
Do you travel beyond DFW?
Yes, when the project scope makes sense. Location and travel are considered as part of the quote.
What if we are not sure what we need?
Tell us what you are trying to accomplish. We will help determine the appropriate capture and deliverables.
Can airspace restrictions or weather affect my capture?
Yes. We review airspace, site access and operating conditions before each mission and obtain FAA airspace authorization where required. Temporary flight restrictions and weather—including low cloud ceilings—can delay or prevent a flight. We’ll keep you informed and work with you to complete capture promptly, as soon as conditions and required authorizations allow.
